Working with Excellera
Who does Excellera work with?
Organisations developing their people beyond the executive layer. The sponsor owns the business case and the programme decisions.
Who can participate?
Team members, individual contributors, high-potentials and first-line managers. Executive-level coaching can be included where it is relevant.
If sessions are confidential, what do we actually learn?
Themes, not transcripts. The same obstacles surface repeatedly across a programme, and you receive those patterns at programme level with nothing attributable to an individual. Participants are told this before they start.
What happens after the programme?
The Organisational Insights Report closes with recommendations: another cohort, a wider population, or the Team Development Programme where the challenge is collective. You decide whether to continue, expand or stop.
People Development Programme
How does the sponsor stay involved?
Through a 30-minute monthly alignment conversation during delivery. At the end, we also hold the Report Review meeting, and so a later check-in with the Six-Month Follow-up.
What is a business indicator?
One measure the sponsor already cares about, chosen during Programme Design: team retention, internal promotion rates or engagement scores, for example. We record it before coaching starts and review it again at the Report Review and the Six-Month Follow-up, so the shift is visible. Coaching is one influence among several, so it shows movement in context, not proof of cause.
How is confidentiality protected?
What happens inside a coaching session stays between coach and participant. Reporting is provided at programme level using anonymised insights and factual measures such as attendance.
Can the programme include executive-level participants?
Yes, where it is relevant to the programme. Executive-level coaching is offered inside the People Development Programme, not as a separate service.
Who coordinates the programme?
You do. A programme coordinator from your organisation confirms participants, holds the schedule and is our point of contact for reporting. Someone who already knows the people and the context makes the programme run better. Excellera can take the role instead, priced at 40% of the programme fee and subject to availability.
What happens if a session is cancelled?
Rescheduling with at least 24 hours' notice simply moves the session. Below that, or a session missed without notice, may be treated as delivered. We waive that in genuine emergencies.
What if a participant drops out?
Up to 10% of the committed participant volume can drop out at no extra charge. You can nominate a replacement during the programme, subject to suitability and scheduling. Beyond that allowance, if a participant is not replaced, the committed programme fee still applies.
Team Development Programme
How is the Team Development Programme different from individual coaching?
The team is the client. The work looks at shared purpose, collaboration, decision-making and accountability rather than one person's development.
What are the Five Disciplines?
Peter Hawkins' framework of Commissioning, Clarifying, Cooperating, Connecting and Core Learning. It is the reference framework for the work.
Who participates?
The whole team, including the team lead. Other stakeholders like Human Resources may be invited to attend if the team so wishes.
How does the Team Development Programme relate to the People Development Programme?
It follows it. When the programme's insights show that the challenge is collective, the Organisational Insights Report recommends the Team Development Programme as the next step.
How is confidentiality handled?
What individuals share in pre-interviews is aggregated in themes. Reporting to the sponsor is anonymised and stays at team level.
How is the investment determined?
€4,800 per team, excluding VAT, for an engagement of up to 12 participants over three to six months. The final quote is confirmed after the Discovery Call, based on team size and the delivery approach agreed.
